I WON - "Justice League: The New Frontier"

Here's an update to a giveaway I previously posted about on this blog.

I WON!

Only 7 people entered. One person was selected who wasn't initially me. Luckily for me that person didn't claim their prize and I was selected as the runner up.

I'm a big fan of the Justice League, so I watched the DVD movie as soon as I received it in the mail. It was great! I really liked how they made Wonder Woman a huge tall amazon. She was taller than Superman. Most of the character voices were pretty good; although, the voice for Batman felt a bit odd to me. I guess I'm used to the voice stylings of Kevin Conroy, who has done the Batman voice of Batman for so long. I haven't watched the DVD extras yet, but I'm sure they're quite good too. The version I won was the single disk version. I've read the double disk version has a few more extras (i.e. 3 episodes of "Justice League Unlimited"), so if you're in the market to purchase the DVD, you can't go wrong with buying either version.

I WON: A 30GB Zune

I just won a 30 GB Zune, by entering a giveaway contest on the following blog: http://www.gallucci.net/. I entered this contest before I had started this blog. All you had to do was link to this person's site and you'd be entered for a drawing to win a slightly used 30 GB Zune. The blogger said that because he had used the Zune, that he wouldn't be sending the headphones to whomever won. Who wants to mix ear wax, he joked.

The Zune was delivered to me 2 days ago and there was not a scratch on it. It even came with a few extras: i.e, FM car transmittor and a traveling plug. That was a very happy surprise! I also noticed that the blogger had left some of his Queen music on the Zune, which was also another nice surprise, but I unknowingly deleted the entire Zune's content when I was syncing it to my computer, so I didn't get to copy those Queen songs before they were deleted. Oh well!
